Terms of Service
1. The service
Kindred Personal Assistant is a personal AI assistant that helps with plans, reminders, email, calendar, documents, and research. By using the app at app.kindredagentics.com or this website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kindred. Access is currently by invitation. Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us right away at ask@kindredagentics.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity in your account.
3. Acceptable use
Please don't use Kindred to:
- break the law, or harm, harass, or deceive other people,
- send spam or messages people did not ask for,
- access accounts or data you are not allowed to access,
- interfere with, overload, or try to get around the security of the service, or
- create content that is abusive, exploitative, or infringes on someone else's rights.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
You own what you share with your assistant and what it creates for you. You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you share and for the actions you ask your assistant to take, such as sending an email.
5. Not professional advice
Kindred is an AI assistant, and it can make mistakes. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Check important information before you rely on it, and talk to a qualified professional about decisions that matter.
6. Connected accounts
If you connect a third-party account, such as Google, you allow Kindred to access it as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
7. Beta, availability, and changes
Kindred is in beta. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. We may update these terms, and we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will let you know before it takes effect.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Kindred and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing ask@kindredagentics.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. What happens to your data when an account closes is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Kindred Agentics LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
